Welcome

Spring Meadows - a place of vision

We hope you take some time to look around and get a feel for the love we have as a family for each other and for Jesus Christ. There is information about when and where we meet, what we believe, a little about our history and leadership, sermons, bulletins, and so much more. A good place to start is the 'About Us' link in the top menu.

Thanks for your response to this year's theme: Make Something Happen - ACT (Activate Christianity Today)!  What are you going to do that is huge this year? What area do you need to Make Something Happen in your sphere of influence?  Remember to pass one of your "coins" from Sunday on to another person and keep one for yourself as a reminder of this theme!

Enjoy this video that Dale opened his sermon with on Sunday, December 20.  Once you've watched the video, be sure to click on "Media" then "Sermons" to hear Dale's message (God's Christmas Gift to You) during this holiday season.

Sunday was a wonderful day as we witnessed Keith Hart baptize his son, John Austin. What a blessing to be a part of such an marvelous event. We rejoice with John Austin and his family (Keith, Julie, Anna Grace, and Ava Beth) at his decision to become a Christian and name Jesus as his Lord and Savior!

We want to thank everyone for your tremendous giving attitude and willingness to give to others during this past holiday season. Your gifts reached a number of needing families, both of our congregation and our local community.

We received $332 in donations, of which $87 went to buy personal products for Hope House, the remaining $245 was used to purchase 36 turkeys which were dispersed with the 105 plus sacks of groceries collected. Along with the sacks of groceries we distributed 100 bibles. Let’s hope several of the seeds will take hold. If you have a story you would like to share on how your gift impacted yourself, family or recipient. Please let me know, we would like to share that feeling you experienced, as an encouragement to others.

What a tremendous out reach this congregation made. Thank you all for you loving hearts.

As elders of Spring Meadows Church of Christ, we want you to have a clear understanding of the philosophy by which we try to live and lead.  The touchstone of our leadership style is Peter's admonition to his fellow-elders in the early church:

"Be shepherds of God's flock that is under your care, serving as overseers - not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not greedy for money, but eager to serve; not lording over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock." - 1 Peter 5:2-3
