What are you looking forward to most about coming to Spring Meadows?
The apostle Paul wrote often about partnerships. His partners in the gospel gave him great joy. The love, faith and example of the churches abroad gave reason to rejoice. I imagine that Paul would have loved to hear the story of Spring Meadows. Across the brotherhood, the reputation of the Spring Meadows congregation shines. I'm most excited about partnering with a church where the best talents of God's people are working for His utmost glory. The Spring Meadows Family is truly a unique blend of God's best. This is a body of believers streaming with tremendous vision, creativity and energy. It is about as close as you're going to get to the biblical first-century church we read about in the book of Acts. The excellent reports of growth and generosity reflect a people captivated by the love and power and name of Jesus Christ. For these reasons, I'm eagerly anticipating the partnership of my family with the Family at Spring Meadows.

What are some things our youth and their families can look forward to under your leadership?
A High View of the Gospel - Ultimately, my philosophy of ministry is based on the biblical model which points all glory to Jesus Christ, and the authority of His Word. We see the gospel as the center of all we say and do. Our gratitude for the gospel drives us, compels us and empowers our work. My main goal in ministry is to capture the hearts and minds of young people with the power and relevance of the gospel of Jesus Christ. When the gospel is put at the heart of all our relationships, marriages, ministries, and daily pursuits, we see God’s beautiful plan for unity and peace among His people.
An Emphasis on Family - One great effort of this ministry is to resource and equip families to be the spiritual leaders of their children that God has called them to be. We see this as a fundamental key of building faith-based relationships that last beyond the teen years. God designed the home as the primary place for nourishment of the child's moral and spiritual growth (Deuteronomy 6). The gospel calls the Lord's Church to place a premium on family.
A Slant Towards Growth & Evangelism - We are never more like Christ than when we are reaching out to the community. A normal, healthy, active body will grow, flourish and produce. The body of Christ is always on the move. Teenagers will be challenged to stretch outside their comfort zones to invest in and invite their friends from the community. Growing. Learning. Becoming active disciples of Jesus Christ.
Connecting Young People to the Body - Youth, parents, volunteers and staff will work as a team to reflect a clear vision and attract gifted youth and adults into leadership. We strive to connect young people to the body instead of segregating them. This community of faith is a warm, welcoming place of acceptance, love, forgiveness and encouragement. We are anticipating great amounts of spiritual transformation and discipleship as students are stimulated to grow in Christ.
What would you like to share of your philosophy of ministry?
My convictions about youth & family ministry were formed out of a desperate response to a devastating trend in the church today. More teens are turning away from the faith than ever before: it is estimated that 75 to 88% of Christian teens walk away from Christianity by the end of their freshman year of college. I’ve spent countless hours with parents, deacons, elders and other youth ministers discussing that fact. We agreed in conclusion: Something must be done.
About Kaci and Claire...

She received a Bachelor's degree from University of Tennessee at Martin(2006), and a Master's degree in Education from Bethel University(2008). She has now chosen to stay at home to raise their daughter Claire. Kaci also works diligently assisting and supporting their ministry to youth and families.

On a personal note, we are so blessed to be called us and set on mission to Spring Meadows “for such a time as this.” We are VERY prayerful and passionate about the glory of God shining through the work with youth and families here. And we would love nothing more than for you to partner with us.
For the sake of the gospel. For the sake the next generation. For the sake of His glory.
